Pianist STANISLAV IOUDENITCH is widely regarded for his strong individuality and musical conviction. His artistry won him the Gold Medal at the 11th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2001, where he tied with Russian pianist Olga Kern, who performed on our series in 2008. Born in Uzbekistan, Ioudenitch has traveled the world performing in the most prestigious concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Gasteig in Munich, Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, International Performing Arts Center in Moscow, and Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. In addition to performing, he is the Artistic Director and Associate Professor of music and piano at Park University near Kansas City, and the founder of the Ioudenitch Academy of Music and Arts, which is dedicated to teaching music and the other arts to children, young people, adults, and advanced professionals.
