The film, Immortal Beloved, is about Ludwig van Beethoven’s secretary and first biographer, Anton Schindler’s search for the true identity of the “Immortal Beloved” addressed in three letters found in the late composer’s private papers. Schindler interviews women who might be potential candidates and discovers much about Beethoven’s tumultuous life and the inspirations behind the music we still love today.
