A Christmas Carol - Live Radio Play

Date: Saturday, November 28, 2020 5:00 pm

CHRISTMAS CAROL BANNER v2

The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials and the magic of live sound effects.

Performances are Saturday and Sunday, November 28 & 29 and are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Pinehurst Charitable Foundation - Paul Bride Fund.

An ensemble cast of extremely talented local actors tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter old miser who hates Christmas. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by several spirits who try to teach him the error of his ways, or else be doomed to an afterlife of torment. It's a tried and true tale of redemption, about how one lonely man learns the meaning of Christmas and goodwill to all.

Local performers include Randy Merritt, Dustin Bonecutter, Collin Conway, Jamie Barnes, Jordan Cranford, Hannah Daniels, Zoey Furie, Fritz Barnes, and Isabelle Toepher.  The show is directed by the Sunrise's own House Managers - Claire Sellers and Killian Poplyk.

A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying, "Bah Humbug!"
